Prof Dr S Shyam Kumar, besides a vast teaching and administrative experience of 35 years in technical education has an industrial experience of six years in IT and application sectors. He is an alumni of prestigious universities – Thapar University- Patiala, Bharatiyar University-Coimbatore, and Kakatiya University- Warangal.

His expertise in Software applications includes design, modelling, automation and AI. He was Incharge of Industry research cluster at Ambala, Haryana state during 2007-2011. During 2019-21, he was one of the directors at software industry in Hyderabad with training and supervising IIT interns on AI as his primary responsibility.

His research interests includes medical implant modelling,design and rapid prototyping, sorting techniques by image processing and code development. To his credits, he had guided several B Tech, M Tech projects and honoured with co guidance of Research thesis at IIT.

His 12 publications in reputed international journals are noteworthy. His presentations in international conferences at Hong Kong polytechnic university and University of Tokyo were appreciated.

He was instrumental in NBA and NAAC accreditation of other JNTU affiliated colleges. His vision on on going reformations in Technical Education is very much aligned to NEP 2020. His contributions to Crimson Institute of Technology, undoubtedly, uphold the future of budding engineers.
